If I vote for you it only means I found you most optimal of the list. If I don't vote for you it only means I found a better choice.

I may vote for you but oppose your party. I may oppose you but support your party

I may oppose both you and your party, but still vote for you because I found you most optimal of the list. I may support both you and your party but will not vote for you if I find a better suite in the list 

If I vote for you it doesn't mean I will agree with everything you are going to  do. If I don't vote for you doesn't mean I will oppose everything you are going to do.

In the frenzy of victory, and in melancholy of defeat - remember this

Between now and 5 years - remember this

After now and before 5 years, I want to have a say

You may do things that I disagree, you may do things I don’t say, but I want to have a say
